James Costello is a veteran homicide prosecutor with the Madera County District Attorney’s Office. His tenure at the Madera County DA’s office includes stints as the department’s Elder Abuse attorney and East County prosecutor, serving the residents and victims residing in Madera County’s Sierra foothills.
He also served in the DA’s Office Special Victims Unit – where he earned a 100% trial conviction rate.
Prior to his tenure in Madera County, Costello spent a decade building experience in a vast array of areas of the legal profession – from civil litigation to clerking for California Superior Court judges.
He resides in the Madera Ranchos.
